GYFTA53-134~144Xn Optic Cable is Loose tube layer twisted non-metal reinforced core armored optical cable, Applicable: Overhead
GYFTA53-134~144Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
The structure of GYFTA53 optical cable consists of 250µm optical fibers contained in a loose tube made of high-modulus materials, with waterproof compounds filling the inside of the loose tube. At the center of the cable core is a non-metallic strengthening core (FRP), and for some fiber counts, an additional layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the non-metallic strengthening core. The loose tube (and filler rope) is twisted around the central strengthening core to form a compact and round cable core, which is then filled with water-blocking fillers. A layer of polyethylene inner sheath is extruded after longitudinal wrapping with aluminum tape (APL), and a polyethylene outer sheath is extruded after longitudinal wrapping with double-sided coated steel tape (PSP).
Optical cables are cables that transmit information, consisting of a central optical fiber and an external protective layer. The materials for the optical fiber can be glass or plastic, with glass fiber being the most widely used type. Optical cables can transmit analog or digital signals through optical fibers, offering advantages such as high speed, large bandwidth, and immunity to electromagnetic interference. They are widely used in fields such as network communication, television transmission, audio transmission, and data transmission.

GYFTA53-134~144Xn Optic Cable Product Features
- Excellent Mechanical Properties and Temperature Characteristics: The cable is designed with materials that offer outstanding mechanical strength and temperature resistance. This ensures its ability to withstand various environmental conditions and installations.
- Waterproof Performance: To ensure reliable waterproof performance, the cable incorporates several measures. These include a single non-metallic center reinforcing core, a loose tube filled with a special waterproof compound, complete core filling, and the use of plastic-coated aluminum tape (APL) as a moisture barrier.
- Effective Water-blocking Material: The cable utilizes high-quality water-blocking material to prevent water infiltration along the length of the optical cable. This ensures that the optical fibers remain protected and unaffected by water-related issues.
