GYTZS-62~72Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
The structure of optical cables consists of a 250µm optical fiber encased in a loose tube made of high-modulus materials, with waterproof compounds filling the inside of the loose tube. At the center of the cable core is a metal strength member, and for some types of optical cables, an additional layer of polyethylene (SPORT) is extruded around the metal strength member. The loose tubes and filling yarns are twisted around the central strength member to form a compact and round cable core, with gaps inside the cable core filled with water-blocking material. A double-sided coated steel tape (PSP) is then longitudinally wrapped and extruded to form a flame-retardant outer sheath. Optical cables are communication cables made up of one or more optical fibers that serve as the transmission medium. To protect the optical fibers from physical damage, moisture, and other external factors, optical cables are typically wrapped with one or more layers of protective materials, such as plastic sheaths and steel wires.
