GYTZS-26~30Xn Optic Cable is Loose-tube layer stranded flame-retardant optical cable, suitable for overhead installation.

GYTZS-26~30Xn Optic Cable Product Overview

The structure of the optical cable consists of 250µm optical fibers housed in a loose tube made of high modulus materials, with the inside of the tube filled with waterproof compounds. At the center of the cable core is a metal strength member, and for some fiber counts, a layer of polyethylene (Π.Ε) is additionally extruded onto the metal strength member. The loose tubes and filling ropes are twisted around the central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, with the gaps inside the cable core filled with water-blocking filler. A double-sided coated steel tape (PSP) encapsulates the cable, followed by the extrusion of a flame-retardant sheath to form the cable. Optical fiber cable mainly consists of optical guiding fibers (οπτικών ινών), plastic protective tubes, and plastic outer skin, arranged in a specific way to form the cable core, which is then wrapped in a sheath, and may also be covered with an outer protective layer, to enable communication lines for optical signal transmission.
