GYXTY-14~18Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
Single-mode/multimode fibres are housed in a loose tube that is made of high-modulus plastic and filled with tube filling compound. The loose tube is armored with steel wires. Then a PE outer sheath is extruded.
Optical fiber: As the core component of optical cable, optical fiber is made of glass or plastic, which is lightweight, flexible, and corrosion-resistant. In a fiber optic cable, multiple fibers are wrapped together to form a cable core.
Stiffener: In order to improve the tensile performance of the optical cable, a stiffener is generally added around the cable core. Reinforcing wires are usually made of high-strength materials such as stainless steel, high-strength polymers, etc..
Sheathing: In order to protect the optical fiber from the external environment, the core of the fiber optic cable is usually sheathed on the outside. The sheath material is generally made of polyvinyl chloride (CLORURO DE POLIVINILO), aramid fiber (DE) and other materials.
Filler: In order to prevent voids or impurities from entering the inside of the cable during manufacturing and use, a filler is generally added between the core and the sheath. The filler is generally made of mineral oil, silicone oil and other materials。
