GYFTA53-44~48Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
YFTA53 optical cable features a robust design that ensures optimal performance and protection of the internal fibers. The cable structure includes multiple components and layers, each with a specific purpose. The core of this optical cable contains a set of 250μm fibers placed within a loose tube made of high-modulus material. The loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound to prevent moisture ingress. To enhance strength and stability, a non-metallic reinforcing core (FRP) is placed at the center of the cable core. For multi-core cables, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the non-metallic reinforcing core. This layer serves as insulation and provides additional protection. The loose tube is wrapped around the central reinforcing core together with any filling ropes to form a compact round cable core structure, ensuring the integrity of the components. To prevent water ingress, water-blocking fillers are used to fill any gaps in the cable core, helping to maintain long-term reliability of the fibers. The cable core is then longitudinally wrapped with aluminum tape (APL) and covered with an inner sheath made of polyethylene. To further enhance protection, a double-sided coated steel tape (Psp) is longitudinally wrapped around the inner sheath.
