MPO Trunk Cable is composed of MTP/MPO connectors and optical fibers, which has a female type (without pins) or a male one (with pins) . MTP/MPO connectors largely increase the cable density and save circuit card and rack space, which are well suited for current 40G/100G cabling and future network speed upgrades.
MPO Trunk Cable Product Overview
MPO Trunk Cable connects MPO modules together as a permanent link. The trunk cables are available with 12,24,48,72,96 그리고 144 섬유. They are typically adopted to interconnect cassettes, panels or ruggedized MPO fan-outs, and to facilitate rapid deployment of high-density backbone cabling in data centers and other high fiber environments. Besides, MPO also provides much flexibility and convenience once you have to change the connector style in the patch panels. Instead of changing the connector on the cable trunk, just installing a new cassettes with the new connector style on the cross-connect side of the patch panel.
