GYFTA-20~24Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
The structure of GYFTA optical cable consists of a 250µm optical fiber encased in a loose tube made of high-modulus material, with a waterproof compound filled inside the tube. The center of the cable core features a non-metallic reinforcement core (FRP), and for certain fiber counts, an additional layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the non-metal reinforcement core. The loose tube (and filler ropes) are twisted around the central reinforcement core to form a compact and round cable core, which is filled with water-blocking filler in the gaps. After longitudinally wrapping with aluminum plastic (APL), a polyethylene sheath is extruded to form the cable.
Optical cables are communication lines used for long-distance, high-speed data transmission, with the core component made of high-purity glass or plastic optical fibers. Optical cables utilize the principle of total internal reflection to convert electrical signals into optical signals, which are transmitted through the optical fibers, and then at the receiving end, the optical signals are converted back to electrical signals, thus enabling high-speed information transmission.
