GYFTA-8~12Xn Optic Cable Product Overview

The structure of GYFTA optical cable consists of a 250µm optical fiber housed in a loose tube made of high modulus material, with waterproof compounds filled inside the tube. At the center of the cable core is a non-metallic reinforcement core (FRP), and for certain fiber counts, a layer of polyethylene (PE) may be extruded over the non-metallic reinforcement core. The loose tubes (and filling yarns) are twisted around the central reinforcement core to form a compact and circular cable core, with the gaps inside the cable core filled with water-blocking filler. After being longitudinally wrapped with aluminum tape (APL), a polyethylene sheath is extruded to form the cable.
Optical cables are mainly composed of optical fibers and plastic protective tubes and outer sheaths, where a certain number of optical fibers are combined in a specific manner to form the cable core, which is wrapped in a sheath, and some even have an outer protective layer, designed to enable the transmission of optical signals as a communication line.
