Description

GYTZS-32~36Xn Optic Cable is Stranded Loose Tube Flame-retardant Cable

GYTZS-32~36Xn Optic Cable Product Overview

The structure of the optical cable consists of 250µm optical fibers encased in a loose tube made of high-modulus materials, with waterproof compounds filling the inside of the tube. At the center of the cable core is a metal strengthening core, and for certain fiber counts, an additional layer of polyethylene (PE) must be extruded around the metal strengthening core. The loose tube and filler ropes are twisted around the central strengthening core to form a compact and circular cable core, with gaps inside filled with water-blocking filler. A double-sided coated steel belt (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped and then extruded into a flame-retardant sheath to complete the cable. Optical cables are communication lines used for long-distance, high-speed data transmission, with their core components made of high-purity glass or plastic optical fibers. Optical cables utilize the principle of total internal reflection to convert electrical signals into optical signals, which are transmitted through the optical fibers and then converted back into electrical signals at the receiving end, thereby achieving high-speed transmission of information.

GYTZS-32~36Xn Optic Cable Product Features

  • Optical Fiber: The core of the optical cable, made of high-purity quartz glass or plastic, used for transmitting optical signals. Optical fibers are divided into single-mode fibers, suitable for long-distance transmission, and multi-mode fibers, suitable for short-distance transmission.
  • Cladding: Wrapped around the outer layer of the optical fiber, it has a lower refractive index than the fiber core, ensuring total internal reflection of the optical signals within the fiber and preventing leakage of the light signals.
  • Buffer Layer: Provides additional protection, reducing mechanical stress and environmental impact on the optical fiber.
  • Armoring Layer: Located on the outer part of the optical cable, it protects the fibers from external physical damage, such as metal wires, plastic sheathing, or materials resistant to rodent bites. Reinforcement Components: Typically made of steel wires or glass fibers, used to enhance the tensile strength of the optical cable.
  • Filler: Such as waterproof grease, used to fill the internal gaps of the optical cable, preventing water and moisture from entering the interior.
  • Outer Sheath: The outermost protective layer, usually made of materials like polyethylene (PE) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC), featuring good weather resistance and mechanical strength.
