GYTZS-122~132Xn Optic Cable is Stranded Loose Tube Flame-retardant Cable, which is a type of communication cable that consists of two or more glass or plastic optical fiber cores, located within a protective coating, covered by an outer plastic PVC sheath. The signal transmission along the internal optical fibers generally uses infrared light.
GYTZS-122~132Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
The structure of the optical cable consists of a 250µm optical fiber encased in a loose tube made of high-modulus materials, with a waterproof compound filling the inside of the loose tube. The center of the cable core is a metal strength member, and for some fiber count cables, an additional layer of polyethylene (EDUCAÇAO FISICA) needs to be extruded over the metal strength member. The loose tube and fill rope are twisted around the central strength member to form a compact and round cable core, with gaps inside the cable core filled with water-blocking material. A double-sided coated steel tape (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped and extruded to form a flame-retardant sheath for the cable.
Optical cables are communication cables that contain optical fibers, and in addition to the fibers themselves, they also include strengthening materials and protective layers to safeguard the fibers from external physical or environmental damage. Optical cables provide mechanical support and external protection for the optical fibers, ensuring reliable operation under complex geographical and environmental conditions.
