GYFTA-44~48Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
The structure of GYFTA optical cable consists of a 250µm optical fiber encased in a loose tube made of high-modulus material, with waterproof compounds filling the inside of the tube. At the center of the cable core is a non-metallic central strength member (FRP), and for certain fiber counts, an additional layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the non-metallic strength member. The loose tubes (and filler ropes) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact and round cable core, with gaps within the cable core filled with water-blocking fillers. After longitudinal wrapping with coated aluminum tape (APL), a polyethylene sheath is extruded to form the cable.
