GYFTA53-122~132Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
The structure of GYFTA53 optical cable consists of a 250µm optical fiber encased in a loose tube made of high modulus material, filled with a waterproof compound. The core of the cable contains a non-metallic reinforcing core (FRP), and for some core counts, an additional layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded outside the non-metallic reinforcing core. The loose tubes (and filling ropes) are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and round cable core, with the gaps inside the cable core filled with a water-blocking filler. An aluminum tape (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and then extruded with a polyethylene inner sheath, while a double-sided coated steel tape (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped and extruded to form the polyethylene outer sheath of the cable.
As a core medium for modern information transmission, the application of optical cables has penetrated various fields including communications, national defense, industry, marine development, and medicine. Specific examples include the construction of global internet infrastructure, military communication guarantees, connections for industrial automation systems, deployment of submarine optical cable networks, and integration of medical equipment.
