GYTZS-20~24Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
The structure of the optical cable consists of a 250µm optical fiber encased in a loose tube made of high-modulus materials, with waterproof compounds filling the inside of the loose tube. The center of the cable core contains a metal reinforcement core, and for certain fiber counts, a layer of polyethylene (PE) must be extruded outside the metal reinforcement core. The loose tube and filling ropes are twisted around the central reinforcement core to form a compact and round cable core, with gaps inside the cable core filled with water-blocking filler. After longitudinal wrapping with double-sided coated steel tape (PSP), a flame-retardant sheath is extruded to form the cable. Optical fiber cables are communication cables composed of two or more glass or plastic optical fiber cores, these fiber cores are located within a protective sheath, covered by a plastic PVC outer jacket. Signal transmission along the internal fibers generally uses infrared light.
