The MR single board is composed of an OADM optical module, a control and communication module, and a power supply module.
Signal flow
The IN optical port receives the multiplexed signal transmitted from the previous station, divides 8 wavelengths through the drop module, and outputs it to the wavelength conversion board or integrated client-side equipment from the D1～D8 optical ports. The dropped signal is output from the MO optical port to other OADM equipment.
The MI optical port receives the signal transmitted by the main optical channel, and combines the 8 wavelengths connected from the optical ports A1 to A8 through the wave adding module. The combined signal is output from the OUT optical port.
Module function
The optical module completes the add/drop multiplexing of 8 wavelength channels.
Provides intermediate cascading ports for connecting other optical add/drop multiplexing boards in series to enable the system to implement more wavelength services locally.
Control and communication module
Realize the operation control of the entire single board.
Collect the alarm and performance events and working status of each functional module of the board.
Perform data communication with the SCC board.
Power module
Convert –48V/–60V DC power to the power required by each module of the board.
