Singtel kommer att distribuera 5G mmWave-tjänster på Microns flashminnesfabrik
Singapores operatör Singtel (Singtel) har vunnit ett kontrakt från Micron Technology för att distribuera sin 5G millimetervåg (mmVåg) service at the semiconductor maker’s 3D NAND flash memory manufacturing facility in Singapore, according to a report on the telecompaper website on May 30. . Micron claims to be preparing for the Industry 4.0 era with the deployment of 5G facilities.
Singtel’s 5G mmWave network supports 2 Gbps of bandwidth. With 5G native edge computing, Micron claims it is now on track to enable more efficient production with smaller, lighter IoT devices.
