Helping the development of digital innovative talents
Cisco has been committed to building a career for digital innovation talents. Since 1998, it has been actively collaborating with the Ministry of Education in various fields through projects such as the Cisco Networking Academy. In June 2017, Cisco and the Ministry of Education jointly signed a memorandum of cooperation on the training of digital innovation talents in Beijing. Cisco plans to invest in a course worth about 500 million yuan for Chinese education, teacher training, teaching software, teaching platform and hardware lab in the three years since the cooperation memorandum was signed in 2020. It will train digital innovation talents within 400,000 person-times. At present, the project is progressing smoothly. In the 2017-2018 school year alone, nearly 290,000 people have been trained to cultivate digital innovation talents, that is, the 3/4 training goal of the plan has been completed.
Responding to the call for new engineering construction, actively supporting the industry-university cooperation and education project
Cisco has been continuously deepening cooperation with domestic universities and colleges to support the construction of new engineering in universities. Cisco and the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, on the platform of industry-university cooperation and education, announced a total of 52 new engineering construction projects, teacher training programs, experimental conditions, and experimental base construction projects for national colleges and universities, and received more than 60 hospitals. School application. After expert review, Cisco selected 41 projects for support, funded more than 600,000 yuan, and cloud platform, software, and hardware investment totaled 41 million yuan.
Helping Chinese University Computer Contest

As the largest and longest-running public welfare education program at Cisco, the Cisco Networking Academy program celebrated its 20th anniversary in China in 2018. In 2018, nearly 160,000 students from mainland China studied at the Cisco Network Institute to learn IT information technology skills such as the Internet of Things, security, and networking.
