Huawei has always been committed to building a smart world of the Internet of Everything, focusing on ICT infrastructure and smart terminals. In the three core areas of artificial intelligence, algorithms, and calculations, Huawei continues to invest heavily, innovate, and achieve new breakthroughs. Wang Tao proposed: “Huawei released the AI-Native database GaussDB globally, enhanced Huawei’s cloud capabilities, and fully utilized the advantages of X86, ARM, GPU, NPU and other computing powers, continued to promote the AI strategy, and actively build the industrial ecology, and with Partners are moving towards the intelligent era.” He also stressed that Huawei will continue to work together with customers and partners to jointly innovate and actively create an open, cooperative and win-win industrial ecosystem and accelerate the process of industrial intelligence.

GaussDB: The world’s first AI-Native database

As the world’s first AI-Native database, GaussDB has two revolutionary breakthroughs:

First, artificial intelligence technology is integrated into the distributed lifecycle of the distributed database for the first time, achieving self-operation and maintenance, self-management, self-tuning, fault self-diagnosis, and self-healing. In the transaction, analysis and mixed load scenarios, based on the optimization theory, the first self-tuning algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning, the tuning performance is more than 60% higher than the industry;

Second, through the heterogeneous computing innovation framework to give full play to the X86, ARM, GPU, NPU multiple computing power, in the authoritative standard test set TPC-DS, the performance is 50% higher than the industry, ranking first.

In addition, GaussDB supports a variety of scenarios such as local deployment, private cloud, and public cloud. On Huawei Cloud, GaussDB provides full-featured, high-performance cloud data warehousing services for customers in the financial, Internet, logistics, education, and automotive industries.
