GYTZS-38~48Xn Optic Cable is Stranded Loose Tube Flame-retardant Cable
GYTZS-38~48Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
The fibers, 250µm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire, sometimes sheathed with PE for cable with high fiber count, locates in the center of core as a metallic strength member. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. The PSP is longitudinally applied over the cable core, which is filled with the filling compound to protect it from water ingress. The cable is completed with a flame-retardant sheath.
Optical cables are a type of cable used for transmitting information, consisting of a central optical fiber and an external protective layer. The material of the optical fiber can be glass or plastic, with glass fiber being the most widely used type. Optical cables can transmit analog or digital signals through optical fibers, featuring advantages such as high speed, large bandwidth, and immunity to electromagnetic interference, making them widely used in network communication, television transmission, audio transmission, data transmission, and other fields. The principle of signal transmission in optical cables utilizes the total internal reflection and refraction characteristics of optical fibers, allowing the signal to be transmitted from one port of the fiber to another. Optical cables can transmit both digital and analog signals, providing very high transmission speed and accuracy, and are not limited by distance.
