Huawei SSN1ETF8 Board Product Overview
Huawei SSN1ETF8 Board is a data type electrical signal outgoing board. It is applied to OptiX OSN series equipment to implement the 100M Ethernet electrical signal input and output interface of the data board. Functions and features
The ETF8 board is used to input and output eight 100M Ethernet electrical signals. It needs to be used with an Ethernet processing board.
Working principle and signal flow
The ETF8 board consists of an interface module and a power module. Taking one 100M Ethernet signal as an example, the functional block diagram of the ETF8 board is shown in Figure 1. Interface module
In the receiving direction, the interface module completes the optical/electrical conversion of the Ethernet signal and sends it to the EFT8, EFSO, EMS4, or EMRO board. In the sending direction, the interface module finishes the electrical/optical conversion of the Ethernet signal and sends it to the optical interface.

Huawei SSN1ETF8 Board Slot Position
- OSN1500 ETF8 board can be inserted into the slot: slot 19, 21, 23, 25, 29, 31, 33, 35 can be inserted in the subrack.
As the interface board of the EFT8 / EFS0 / EMR0 board; it can be inserted in slots 19 ~ 26, 29 ~ 36 of the subrack, and serves as the interface board of the EMS4 / EMS2 / EFS0A board. - OSN2500 ETF8 board: board size: 22.0mm (width) x 125.2mm (depth) x 261.4mm (height) weight: 0.4kg.
