Description
Cisco Nexus 9300-EX Switch is the next generation of non-modular Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches.
Built on modern system architecture, the Cisco Nexus 9300-EX platform switch is designed to deliver high performance to meet the ever-changing needs of highly scalable data centers. They offer a variety of interface options to transparently migrate existing data centers from 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps, and 10 Gbps to 25 Gbps on the server and from 10 and 40 Gbps to 50 Gbps and 100 Gbps at the aggregation layer.
With deep buffers, Layer 2 and Layer 3 scalability and high performance, the Cisco Nexus 9300-EX platform provides investment protection for customers in the data center’s ever-changing needs for high virtualization and automated cloud environments. The Cisco Nexus 9300-EX platform front hardware supports Cisco® Data Center Interconnect (DCI) capabilities for flexible workload mobility and LAN and SAN convergence.

The Cisco Nexus 93180YC-EX switch is a single-rack-unit (1RU) switch that supports 3.6 Tb/s (Tbps) bandwidth and 2.8 bpps per second. The 48 downlink ports of the 93180YC-EX can be configured as 1, 10 or 25 Gbps ports for deployment flexibility and investment protection. The uplink can support up to six 40 Gbps and 100 Gbps ports, or a combination of 10, 25, 40, 50, and 100 Gbps connections, providing flexible migration options.
The Cisco Nexus 93108TC-EX switch is a 1RU switch that supports 2.16 Tbps bandwidth with throughput exceeding 1.7 bpps. The 48 10TCBASE-T downlink ports of the 93108TC-EX can be configured as 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps ports. The uplink can support up to six 40 Gbps and 100 Gbps ports, or a combination of 10, 25, 40, 50, and 100 Gbps connections, providing flexible migration options.

Cisco Nexus 9300-EX Switch Features and functions
The Cisco Nexus 9300-EX switch features 48 1/10/25G Gbps enhanced small form factor hot-swappable (SFP+) ports and six 40/100 Gbps Quad SFP+ (QSFP+) uplink ports. Wire-speed performance is available on all ports, enabling the switch to deliver 3.6 Tbps of throughput in a single rack unit (1RU) form factor.
