Cisco UCS B200 M5 Blade Server Features
The Cisco UCS B200 M4 server is a half-width blade server. Up to eight servers can be deployed in a 6-rack unit (6RU) Cisco UCS 5108 blade chassis, with server density per blade chassis unit being among the highest in the industry. You can configure the B200 M5 to meet local storage needs without having to purchase, cool, and distribute unwanted components.
The B200 M5 offers the following main features:
1st, Up to two Intel scalable CPUs (up to 28 cores per CPU)
2nd, 24 DIMM slots for industry standard DDR4 memory at speeds up to 2666 MHz and up to 3 TB with 128 GB DIMMs.
3rd, Modular onboard LAN (mLOM) card with Cisco UCS Virtual Interface Card (VIC) 1340. The VIC 1340 is a 2-port, 40 Gigabit Ethernet, FCOM mesoscopic adapter that supports Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE).
