Huawei CE-MPUD-HK Board, as the main control unit of the equipment, is mainly responsible for system control, management and monitoring.
CloudEngine 16800 is Huawei’s first data center switch for the AI era. Built-in AI chip, carrying the original iLossless intelligent lossless switching algorithm, real-time learning and training of the entire network traffic, achieving network 0 packet loss and E2Eμs delay, and achieving the highest throughput. The software platform is based on Huawei’s VRP8 operating system. On the basis of providing stable, reliable and high-performance L2/L3 layer switching services, it builds an intelligent, minimalist, secure and open data center cloud network platform for customers.
The CloudEngine 16800 series adopts advanced hardware architecture design. The whole machine supports up to 734/3096Tbps switching capacity, and currently supports up to 576 100GE, 576 40GE or 2304 10GE full wire-speed interfaces.

Huawei CE-MPUD-HK Board Product Features
- Through the external management interface provided by the CE-MPUD-HK main control board, the equipment management and maintenance functions are realized.
- The CE-MPUD-HK main control board integrates a monitoring module. Through the monitoring plane, remote single board power-off, reset control, firmware upgrade, temperature monitoring, voltage monitoring, power monitoring, asset management, and fault diagnosis can be realized.
- The CE-MPUD-HK main control board integrates the LAN Switch module to provide out-of-band communication between the boards for each board to complete the control, monitoring, maintenance and exchange of messages between the SFU and LPU boards.
- All routing protocol messages are processed by the forwarding engine to the CE-MPUD-HK main control board for processing.
- The CE-MPUD-HK main control board is responsible for broadcasting, filtering and downloading routing policies from the policy server.
- System configuration data, startup files, upgrade software, system operation log information, etc. are all placed on the CE-MPUD-HK main control board.
The CE-MPUD-HK main control board uses NandFlash as a storage medium to save data files.
