Huawei SSN1EMS4 Board Product Overview
Huawei SSN1EMS4 Board is an Ethernet switching processing board, which is mainly used to solve telecommunication application fields such as Ethernet service access, bandwidth management, and Ethernet service layer 2 switchings. A typical networking application of the Ethernet switch processing board is shown in Figure 1. It can implement Ethernet access and aggregation,
Layer 2 switching of Ethernet data, port isolation, flow classification, data flow control, VLAN management, and priority. Configuration and other data features, as well as functions such as data encapsulation/decapsulation, virtual concatenation, and SDH mapping / demapping. At the same time, it can be connected with broadband access equipment and data communication equipment to provide a network-wide solution.

Huawei SSN1EMS4 Board Product Features
- Supports PORT-based transparent transmission.
- Support EVPL services that share PORTs.
- Support EVPL services that share VCTRUNK.
- Supports up to 8000 LINK services.
- Supports up to 512 blacklists and 512 static MAC addresses. The blacklist only supports destination MAC address verification, and does not support source MAC address verification.
- Support source MAC address self-learning function, the size of MAC address table is 128K, support setting and querying of MAC address aging time.
- Support static MAC routing configuration.
- Support query of dynamic MAC address.
The maximum number of VBs supported is two, and the maximum number of each VB logical port is 40. - Supports EPLAN services based on the IEEE 802.1d MAC bridge.
- Supports data isolation based on VB (Virtual Bridge) + VLAN.
- Supports up to 4,000 VLAN services.
- Supports EVPLAN services based on IEEE 802.1q Virtual Bridge and IEEE 802.1ad Provider Bridge.
