Huawei TN13OAU1 Board Is optical amplifier Unit for WDM equipment. It can complete the optical signal amplification function, and can be used at the sending end and the receiving end.
Huawei TN13OAU1 Board Product Overview
The functional versions of the OAU1 board are: TN12 and TN13.
TN12OAU1 00 Amplifies the C-band input optical signal. 16 dB~25.5 dB
TN13OAU1 01 Amplifies the C-band input optical signal. 20 dB~31 dB
The OAU1 board supports functions and features such as gain adjustment, online optical performance monitoring, gain lock technology, and transient control technology.
It can amplify the input optical signal of C band, the total wavelength range covers 1529nm~1561nm.
It can support the system to realize the non-electric relay transmission of different spans.
Gain adjustment The OAU1 board adjusts the gain according to the input optical power to achieve continuous adjustment within the following overall gain range:
OAU100: 16dB~25.5dB
OAU101: 20dB~31dB
OAU103: 24dB~36dB
OAU105: 23dB~34dB
OAU106: 16dB~23dB
OAU107: 19dB~27dB, support adjustable maximum total output power.

- Amplify the input optical signals in C band. The total wavelengths range from 1529 nm to 1561 nm.
- Support the system to transmit services over different fiber spans without electrical regeneration.
- Provides an online monitoring interface. A small number of optical signals can be output to the spectrum analyzer or spectrum analyzer unit through the interface to monitor the spectrum and optical performance of the multiplexed signals with no service interruption.
- Supports the gain locking and power locking modes. In the gain locking mode, the gain of the board is tunable and users can query the actual gain of the board. The gain locking mode is enabled by default. The power locking mode applies to scenarios in which there is only dummy light to lock
- Detects and reports the optical power.
- Monitors the temperature of the pump laser.
- Detects the pump driving current, back facet current, pump cooling current, temperature of the pump laser and the ambient temperature of the board.
