GJASFKV Armored Cable Product Overview

the structure of the optical fiber cable is a multi-strand aramid fiber reinforced with a multi-core bundle mini ф250μm optical fiber surface. A layer of PVC or LSZH inner sheath is extruded on the stranded surface as a subunit, the subunit is wound with a layer of steel wire armor, The sub-unit and the non-metallic reinforcements FRP (and possible mats) are stranded in a circle, wrapped with a dry water-blocking tape between the core and the sheath, and finally the PVC (or LSZH) sheath is extruded cable.

The so-called armored optical fiber (optical cable) is wrapped in a protective “armor” on the outside of the optical fiber, which is mainly used to meet the requirements of customers to prevent rat bites and moisture.There are single armor and double armor (indoor optical cable). The structure of single-core indoor armored optical cable is: tightly wrapped optical fiber + aramid (to play a tensile role) + stainless steel hose (to play the role of anti-compression, anti-bending, anti-rat bite) + stainless steel braided wire (playing the role of anti-torsion) + outer sheath (usually using PVC, according to different roles there are flame-retardant PVC, LSZH, Teflon, silicone tube, etc.)

Single armor refers to optical cables that do not contain stainless steel braided wire. Double armor refers to fiber optic cables containing stainless steel hoses and stainless steel braided wires.
