HG6821M ONU Product Overview
HG6821M ONU is GPON Optical Network Terminal （ONT）and designed for HGU (Home Gateway Unit) in FTTH applications. Fiberhome HG6821M ONU supports L3 function to help subscriber construct the intelligent home network. Fiberhome HG6821M provides a GPON interface to connect OLT with an ODN. It offers a new choice for operators to deliver FTTH access. AN5516 is a hybrid plug-in central office equipment (OLT) designed and developed by Fiberhome for the requirements of high-speed, multi-service, and wide coverage of the next-generation optical network. Various application scenarios require a new generation of high-capacity carrier-grade fibre-optic access equipment. The functional positioning of AN5516 equipment is as follows: As the central office equipment OLT in the FTTx solution, it is used in conjunction with the remote equipment ONU to support broadband services such as VoIP, TDM, IPTV, CATV, and Internet access
