GYXY Non-armored Cable Product Overview
The fibers, 250 µm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. Over the tube, water-blocking material is applied to keep the cable watertight. Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides.The cable is completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath. Armoured optical cables have important applications in telecom optical fiber long-distance lines and primary and secondary trunk line transmission. However, the armored optical fiber that the general network management usually comes into contact with is mostly used to connect the two optical fiber network equipment used in the computer room building. Such armored fibers are relatively short in length. Often called an armored jumper.
